If a person accepts another in any serious capacity: as murid, subordinate, khadim, operational partner, trusted witness, or burden-bearing counterpart , then real duties arise.
A murshid owes protection, clarity, truthful hearing, and material concern. A supervisor owes cover, honesty, compensation, and responsibility for the burdens carried under his field. An operational partner owes reciprocity, trust, shared burden, and support proportionate to the seriousness of what is being carried together.
That includes financial support where labor, service, risk, or loyalty are being materially extracted. Informality does not erase debt. Spiritual language does not erase debt. Institutional prestige does not erase debt. If a system benefits from a person’s labor, witness, seriousness, or sacrifice while leaving them exposed, unsupported, misread, underpaid, or materially precarious, that is not piety. That is extraction.
What was owed here was not flattery, vague appreciation, or post-collapse symbolism. What was owed was protection, pay, standing, truthful recognition, and repair of relationships unjustly damaged by unmanaged narrative, institutional failure, and role collapse.
A person in authority does not get to take loyalty, service, witness, and burden from another while leaving them to absorb the cost alone … and then permit that relationship to be falsely collapsed into geographically impossible sexual narratives in order to erase the duties that were actually incurred.
That is not leadership. That is not tariqah. That is not ethics.
That is fraud.
